# How Nanopage Works

Nanopage turns a plain-language description plus optional source files into a live hosted website in about 3–5 minutes.

## The process

1. **Describe the site.** Write a short brief in plain language: who the site is for, what it should say, what sections it needs.
2. **Add source material (optional).** Upload images, text files, or readable PDFs — a menu, a resume, a listing sheet, event details, a slide deck. Nanopage uses them as the site's content.
3. **AI builds the site.** A complete, mobile-friendly website is generated — real headings, body copy, and images, not a template with placeholders.
4. **Get a hosted URL.** The site goes live at `{slug}.nanopage.site` immediately. Connect a custom domain whenever you're ready.
5. **Edit by chatting.** Ask for changes in plain language ("make the header darker", "add an opening-hours section"), or make unlimited manual edits.

## Good inputs make good sites

- Readable, text-based PDFs (not scans — there is no OCR)
- A short `brief.txt` describing goal, audience, and tone
- Real photos and logos
