A one-day festival on a small white-sand beach in the Lofoten archipelago, north of the Arctic Circle. Twelve acts, two stages of driftwood and scaffolding, and a sun that, on the night of 18 July, does not set.
We're not interested in clashing sets. Stage A and Stage B alternate. You can see all twelve if you want to. Most people do.
Electronic. Live. Loud at midnight. "You stop knowing what time it is. That's the goal."
A four-piece from Tromsø that built their own modular synths. "We never play the same song twice."
Solo voice + tape loops. Has not toured since 2022. "This is the only festival I'll be at this year."
Folk songwriter with a five-piece band. "We're doing the new record top to bottom."
An 18-person choir from the next bay over, singing songs they wrote about it. Sunset slot.
Jazz, piano-led, very quiet. Plays the 02:00 closing-down set in the dunes. Bring a blanket.
Hovden is at the north-eastern tip of Langøya in the Vesterålen archipelago, about 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. There's a single white-sand beach, a small fishermen's village of seventeen houses, and on 18 July, a stage.
You will likely fly into Tromsø or Evenes, take a bus, then a ferry, then a smaller bus. It takes most of a day from anywhere. Plan to arrive Friday. Plan to leave Sunday. We'll have shuttles.
The festival is camping-only. Tents are sold at-cost on site if you can't bring your own. Cars are parked half a kilometre away — you'll walk in.
Released in January, gone in 9 days.
The standard ticket. Most people are in this bucket.
For Lofoten residents and full-time students.
