Describe your project

Quiet, careful electrical work for Seattle homes.

I'm Nate Flare — one electrician, no crew vans in your driveway unless the job needs it. I specialize in older Craftsman wiring, thoughtful lighting, and EV chargers that pass inspection the first time.

What I do most weeks

Panel & service upgrades

100A to 200A upgrades for kitchens, heat pumps, and second floors that outgrew 1960s panels.

Whole-home rewiring

Knob-and-tube removal in Wallingford and Ballard bungalows — phased so you keep power at night.

Lighting design

Under-cabinet LEDs, dining pendants, and exterior sconces wired to Lutron dimmers you can actually use.

EV charger installs

Most Seattle garages need a 240V circuit on a dedicated breaker. I pull permits through SDCI, coordinate with your utility, and mount ChargePoint, Tesla Wall Connector, or JuiceBox units.

  • Load calculation before we upsell a panel
  • 40A and 48A circuits for Level 2 charging
  • Outdoor-rated runs for detached garages
  • Inspection scheduled — I meet the inspector

Typical install: $1,200–$2,400 depending on panel distance.
