Una piccola trattoria di famiglia nel cuore di Trieste. Hand-rolled pasta, seasonal fish from the morning market, and a short, honest wine list.
We opened in 1987 in a side street off Piazza Cavana. My grandfather ran the kitchen, my grandmother ran the dining room, and the menu changed depending on what the boats brought in that morning.
Almost forty years later, the menu still changes depending on what the boats bring in. We make the pasta in the back. The wine list is mostly from the Carso, two hills behind us.
Walk-ins welcome at the bar.
For tables of 4+, please book.
