Does it work with scanned PDFs?

No — Nanopage doesn't run OCR. If your PDF is a scanned image (a designed flyer, a poster, a signed document), the AI can't extract real text from it. Instead, we build a simple download page: a clean landing page with a preview thumbnail and a "Download PDF" button. Same shareable URL, just pointing at the file.

How do I know if my PDF is text-based or scanned?

If you can highlight and copy text out of it in a PDF reader, it's text-based and Nanopage will rebuild it as a web page. If text doesn't select (it's really an image), we'll ship the download page instead.

How long does it take?

Around 3-5 minutes for most PDFs. Larger documents take a bit longer.

Can I edit the result?

Yes. After it generates, you chat with the AI to change copy, images, colors, or layout.

What about multi-page PDFs?

Multi-page PDFs become multi-section pages or multi-page sites — the AI picks based on length.
