Building
What is Nanopage?
+
Nanopage is an AI website builder for fast content websites. Describe the site you need, add photos, PDFs, presentations, menus, resumes, listings, or other source material, and Nanopage builds a live hosted website. When you only need to share a file publicly, it can also publish a clean download page with one URL. See every kind of website Nanopage can build.
How long does a website take to build?
+
Most sites are ready in about 3-5 minutes. Larger PDFs, image-heavy galleries, or detailed multi-section pages can take a little longer.
What source material can I add?
+
Use whatever you already have: a PDF, presentation, menu photo, real estate listing photos, resume, portfolio images, event flyer, service list, or a short written brief. The content guide walks through what to include and how to write a simple brief.txt. Specific guides for restaurants, real estate listings, weddings, and resumes cover what works best for each.
Do I have to start from a template?
+
No. Nanopage uses your uploaded content and prompt to assemble the page. The use-case pages are examples, not a fixed template library.
Editing
Can I edit the website after it is generated?
+
Yes. Open the site in your dashboard and chat with the AI to change copy, colors, sections, images, layout, buttons, or links.
Can I update a menu, resume, price list, or event details later?
+
Yes. Upload the new file or tell the AI exactly what changed. Nanopage is meant for sites that need quick updates without opening a page builder — handy for menus, resumes, and event details.
Can I add forms, booking links, or signup tools?
+
Yes, by linking or embedding the tool you already use. Common examples are Google Forms, Typeform, Calendly, Cal.com, OpenTable, Resy, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, and Formspree.
Can I choose the style?
+
Yes. Describe the mood in plain language: clean and professional, cozy and warm, bold and colorful, minimal and editorial, or match a brand color you provide.
Hosting
Is the site live on a real URL?
+
Yes. Nanopage publishes your AI-generated website to a real shareable URL. You can send it in messages, put it in your bio, print it as a QR code, or add it to an email signature. If the right output is simply a public file page, see share PDF link and share presentation link for common examples.
Can I use a custom domain?
+
Yes. Custom domains are supported, so you can use a domain you already own instead of the default Nanopage URL. If you have never bought a domain or touched DNS before, see the domain guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.
Are Nanopage sites public?
+
Yes. Current Nanopage sites are public at their URL. Password protection and private client galleries are not part of the current version.
Will the site work on phones?
+
Yes. Generated sites are built to be responsive, so they work on phones, tablets, and desktop screens.
Limits
Does Nanopage sell products or process payments?
+
Not natively. For purchases, tickets, appointments, donations, delivery, or print sales, link out to the platform you already use, such as Shopify, Stripe, Gumroad, Eventbrite, DoorDash, or Pixieset.
Does it support complex web apps?
+
No. Nanopage is for fast content websites: menus, portfolios, events, resumes, landing pages, listings, brochures, and small business sites. If you need accounts, dashboards, databases, or custom workflows, hire a developer.
Does PDF conversion work with scanned PDFs?
+
Nanopage does not run OCR. If a PDF has selectable text, it can be rebuilt as a webpage. If the PDF is a scanned image, Nanopage creates a clean download page instead. See the PDF to website page for details.
Does it integrate with MLS, IDX, or other live data feeds?
+
No direct live-feed integrations. For real estate listings and similar use cases, upload the photos, descriptions, and details manually.
Account
How much does it cost?
+
Nanopage costs $9 per year per website. No monthly plan, no tier maze. See the pricing page for full details.
What is the refund policy?
+
Nanopage has a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase. After 7 days, charges are non-refundable.
Who owns the content I upload?
+
You do. Nanopage processes your uploaded content to generate and host your website, but you retain ownership of the content you provide.
