Improve my site

Your website,rebuilt for today.

Paste the address of the site you already have. Nanopage keeps what is true — your services, photos and contact details — and redesigns everything else. Refresh a tired site, or move off WordPress without starting from a blank page.

Made for small websites. Large or dynamic site? See your options.

Two ways in

Start from the site you already have.

Most people who come to Nanopage are not starting from nothing. They have a website — it is just old, slow, hard to edit, or stuck on a platform they no longer want to look after.

Refresh

Your site works, but it looks 2012.

The content is fine; the design is not. It breaks on phones, the phone number is buried, and nobody remembers how to change anything.

  • Same facts, same photos, new design
  • Built mobile-first, with clear calls to action
  • Edit by asking, not by hunting through menus

Move

You are done looking after WordPress.

Updates, plugins, hosting, security warnings. You wanted a website, not a second job. Bring your pages and domain to Nanopage and let us run it.

  • Pages rebuilt from your live site
  • Your domain, with hosting and SSL included
  • Bigger site? We can migrate it for you

How it works

One address in. A better website out.

Step 01

Paste your current address

Choose Improve my site and enter the website you own or manage. Add a note if you want something changed: “make the phone number bigger”, “warmer”, “drop the old news page”.

Step 02

Nanopage reads your site

We import your homepage and up to seven of its most important pages — services, about, menu, pricing, contact — plus up to 30 images and a few short videos. It runs on our side, so you can close the tab.

Step 03

Get the new version, then refine it

Your content comes back in a fresh, mobile-first design. Ask for changes in plain words, edit text directly, and connect your domain when you are happy.

What carries over

Keep the substance. Lose the dated parts.

Your imported pages are the source of truth for facts. The old layout and visual choices are deliberately left behind.

Kept

  • Your business name, services, prices and opening hours
  • Phone numbers, email, addresses and the links people rely on
  • Your real photos, logo and short videos
  • The facts on your pages: who you are, what you do, where you work

Improved

  • A fresh layout that works on phones first
  • Clearer headings, shorter paths, easier navigation
  • Calls to action people can actually find
  • Readable type, real contrast and accessible markup
Moving from WordPress

Moving a small site takes two steps.

The same works for Wix, Squarespace, Joomla and older builders. Nothing is deleted on the old platform until you decide to switch.

01 · Pages

Paste the address

Home, services, about and contact come across through Improve my site, the same way as a refresh. Works with WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Joomla, Webflow or a hand-built site.

02 · Your domain

Point it at Nanopage

Keep the address you already have. Hosting and SSL are included, so there is no separate hosting bill once the domain moves.

What you leave behind
  • Plugin updates, theme updates and security patches
  • A separate hosting plan, backups and caching plugins
  • A page builder you have to relearn every time you log in
What does not move
  • Online stores with a checkout, carts and inventory
  • Member logins, forums and comment threads
  • Features that only exist because of a specific plugin

Nanopage is built for content websites. If your site depends on these, tell us — we will say honestly whether it fits.

Small and large sites

Built for small websites. Large ones need a real migration.

Improve my site reads your homepage and up to seven more pages. That is plenty for most small businesses, and nowhere near enough for a news site or a blog with years of posts.

Works with Improve my site
  • Business and brochure sites with a handful of pages
  • Local services, restaurants, studios and practices
  • Portfolios, personal sites and event pages
  • A small blog with a few posts
Needs a migration
  • News sites and magazines that publish every day
  • Blogs and archives with hundreds of posts
  • Sites built from a database: listings, directories, catalogues
  • Large sites with many sections and deep navigation

Comfortable with AI agents or APIs? You can also migrate it yourself.

For developers

Migrate any size of site with an AI agent or the API.

This route is technical, but it has no page limit. Posts, articles, events and products go into CMS collections, which hold any number of entries and update live.

MCP

Let an AI agent do the move

Connect Claude, Cursor or Codex to the Nanopage MCP server and ask it to migrate your site. The agent reads your WordPress export or live pages, publishes the design and sends posts into CMS collections with their dates, images and slugs.

REST API

Script the import yourself

Send up to 100 entries per request with a personal access token. HTML or Markdown, dates and images by URL come along, and the slug is the identity, so you can run the same import again after fixing something.

Questions

Improve my site FAQ

Does importing change or take down my old website?

No. Nanopage only reads the public pages, the same way a visitor would. Your old site stays exactly as it is and keeps running until you point your domain at Nanopage.

What exactly gets imported?

Your homepage and up to seven more pages linked from it, with pages like services, about, menu, pricing and contact read first. Up to 30 images and a few short videos come with them. Text is kept as the source of truth; the old layout is not copied.

Does it work for large or dynamic websites?

Not on its own. Improve my site is made for small websites. A news site, a blog with hundreds of posts, or a site built from a database will not come across by pasting the address. Contact us and we will make you an offer to migrate it, or, if you are technical, migrate it yourself with an AI agent over MCP or through the API.

My site has a few more than eight pages. What happens to the rest?

The first build covers the pages that matter most to visitors. You can add the remaining pages afterwards by asking for them or attaching their text and photos.

Can I move from WordPress?

Yes, if it is a small site: paste the address and the pages are rebuilt. A WordPress news site or a large blog needs a proper migration. Ask us for an offer, or move the posts into CMS collections with an AI agent over MCP or through the API.

Will my old links still work?

Your domain stays the same once it is connected. Individual page addresses can change: a post at /2021/04/spring-menu/ might become /blog-spring-menu. If you have links that must keep working, tell us before you switch and we will help.

Do I need to own the website?

Use a site you own or manage. Improve my site is for rebuilding your own business or project, not for copying someone else’s.

What does it cost?

Your first build and preview are free. Publishing needs a plan, and plans start at $19 / year per website with hosting, SSL and a custom domain included.

Your old site already did the hard part.

The words, the photos, the details your customers look for — they exist. Paste the address and see them in a design that does them justice. The first build is free.
